Nightingale-Grey Creative Group has begun a consulting partnership with independent game developer Gabe Rimmon, supporting the narrative development of an untitled card-driven tactical RPG currently in early production.

The project draws inspiration from titles like Gloomhaven and Final Fantasy Tactics, blending card-based mechanics with strategic combat. The story follows a band of sky pirates led by a roguish gambler protagonist whose relationship with chance and chaos sits at the heart of both the gameplay and the narrative.

The partnership grew out of the group's ongoing exploration of piracy as a literary theme — specifically, the craft challenges of building audience sympathy for protagonists who exist outside the law. That work now informs the character and world-building development underway for the project.

Gabe, who also serves as the group's lead technical resource and developed this website, brings both creative and technical investment to the collaboration.

Nightingale-Grey Creative Group provides narrative consultation, story structure feedback, and writing support across publishing, media, and interactive entertainment.
