The Canadian production company ITEM 7 acquired the rights to the television series Darlings of New France. Based in Montreal, ITEM 7 is one of the leading production companies in Quebec and Canada. Founded by producer Pierre Even, the company is known for internationally acclaimed films such as War Witch and Brooklyn.
